rachel
Rachel hails from Normandy (France), and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. But, unlike her brother, she decided not to take over the reigns of the engineering firm Porquet, and left the shores of Normandy in search of an Asian adventure.

Armed with a university-degrees in Economics, Psychology, and a masters degree in Training for Trainers, she worked as a volunteer
in Korea and Indonesia before making her way to Sri Lanka in the
wake of the tsunami, to work for the French organisation Solidarite Laique.

Within a month of her arrival, she met Mahen, who was
commissioned by the same organization to produce Yuti, the
tri-lingual magazine for curious kids, distributed free to 40,000
Sri-Lankan children. (see work/publications page) Her destiny
eventually caught up with her when she joined MCN as a general manager at the end of her voluntary mission. By doing so, she was finally following in the footsteps of her mum by making her business partner her partner in life, while exchanging the world of industrial fabrication for the exciting world of creative communication..

Rachel is an efficient, dynamic, and a committed team-player, eternaly obsessed with getting it right.

She’s always on the ball, and keeps MCN running like a well oiled machine.
